The crux with managers

Do you know this? The feeling that the manager doesn't actually want to lead, but has somehow been made into a leader.

But then there is also the opposite, the leader desperately wants to lead but unfortunately cannot. Unfortunately, however, it is precisely this type of leader who is completely convinced of their own competence and ability, also known as the Dunning-Kruger effect.

It is precisely these phenomena that lead to enormous economic damage - day after day. According to one study, it is precisely this lack of leadership qualities that is responsible for poor employee retention.

At the same time, however, employees' need for charming and entertaining, empathetic and charismatic leaders is increasing. How can these developments be reconciled? How does one deal with the under- and over-demands of the parties involved? Which party should be considered first?

It is important to bring about groundbreaking changes, to communicate honestly with each other, to look for new solutions and constellations that serve all needs well and contribute to the success of the company.

The goal is not to artificially bring about something that does not last. Rather, it is a matter of bringing out what exists as truth and using it as a foundation to build on.

This promotes the corporate culture and leads to authentic teams that, with joint forces, lead the company into the future.

Coaching can support all sides to bring out the best in each other and to harmonise and respond to each other.
